Token & Trophy Status Update for 2021
Thank you for being a loyal Shockwave player. Unfortunately due to the discontinuation of the Flash platform by Adobe, games are unable to award tokens and trophies as of December 2020. Please stay tuned as we plan for future uses of your current token balance, along with new achievements coming in future Shockwave titles.
What are tokens?
Shockwave tokens are your reward for being awesome! You can earn tokens by scoring big in games or by participating in certain activities on the site. You can use your tokens to up the ante in games like poker, keno, and slots!
How do I earn tokens?
You can earn tokens by playing certain games or by participating in certain activities on the Shockwave site.
Play games: Certain games give you the chance to win tokens based on your skills. Some games automatically award tokens at the end of play, while others require you to submit your sweet score to receive your reward. Click here to see the list of token games.
Things you already do: You can also earn tokens for things you already do, like writing game reviews or updating your profile. See the list below of things you can do to get tokens.
Which site activities award tokens?
You can earn tokens on Shockwave for doing a lot of things you already do! Here's a list of the activities that will add tokens to your bottom line:
- Rate a game—Rate any game on Shockwave for a 50 token reward. Limit of one reward per unique game.
- Download a premium game—Download, install & play the free trial on any premium game on Shockwave for a 100 token reward. Limit of one reward per unique game.
- Buy a premium game—Buy any premium download game on Shockwave for a 10,000 token reward.
- Write a review—Every approved review you write on Shockwave will earn you a 50 token reward—limit of one reward per unique game reviewed.
- Complete your profile—Complete all your profile questions and choose an avatar for a one time reward of 1,000 tokens.
- Sign up for newsletters—Sign up for any of our Shockwave newsletters for a 100 token reward, limit of one reward per unique newsletter.
Does my membership include tokens?
Yes, all members receive 1,000 tokens when they sign up. In addition Shockwave UNLIMITED members get 10,000 bonus tokens at sign up.
Which games award tokens?
All Shockwave games that track high scores award tokens.
How can I find games that award tokens?
Visit the All Token Games page for a quick overview.
How can I tell if a game automatically awards tokens or if I have to submit my score to receive them?
Games that automatically award tokens will display the Automatic Token icon, and show your token count at the end of gameplay.
Games that require you to submit your score for tokens will display a Submit for Tokens icon. In addition, you'll be prompted to submit your scores without your token count being shown. All games that accept high scores will also award tokens for gameplay.
I forgot to submit my score and then started a new game. Can I get my tokens?
No, if you do not submit your score when prompted, you lose the opportunity to collect your tokens, so be careful!
What's the difference between my current and lifetime token balance?
Current balance represents the number of tokens you currently have available for use, while lifetime balance is the sum of all the tokens you've ever won.
What can I get with my tokens?
Everyone can use tokens to up the ante in exclusive Shockwave games like poker, keno, and slots!
Can I give my tokens to my friend?
We love that you want to share! Unfortunately, the tokens you earn are not transferable and can only be redeemed by you.
Can I sell my tokens?
An entrepreneur, huh? Sorry, the tokens you earn are not transferable and can only be redeemed by you.
Can I risk my tokens?
Yes! You can use your tokens to up the ante in some exclusive Shockwave games, like poker, keno and slots.
Do I have to be a Shockwave UNLIMITED member to get tokens?
No! All Shockwave members have a chance to earn tokens.
How can I see how many tokens I have?
If you are signed in to Shockwave, you will see your token balance right next to the My Shockwave tab at the top of any page. For more detailed information, click the My Shockwave tab. Again, you must be signed in to view your profile information.
What is a token worth?
Tokens have no monetary value and can only be used on the Shockwave site.
Trophies
What are trophies?
Trophies are virtual rewards for extraordinary gameplay. Each game that offers a trophy has defined metrics that you must meet to win a trophy. Trophies may be awarded for single gameplay or for scores accumulated in the game over time. When you are rewarded a trophy, it will be displayed in your trophy case on your profile.
Who can win trophies?
Only Shockwave UNLIMITED members will have their scores count towards, and can subsequently win, trophies. In games that offer trophies, trophies are awarded at the end of gameplay.
Which games have trophies?
Shockwave UNLIMITED members have the chance to win trophies in all games that offer trophies. Look for games with the trophy icon in the All Games list.
Note: always be sure to submit your high score in games you play for trophies or tokens. While most games will automatically count your score towards a trophy, some require you to submit your score to earn your reward.
I won a trophy but forgot to submit my score. Can I still get it?
Most games will award your trophy automatically. However, if you play a game which requires you to submit your score to get a trophy and you fail to do so, we cannot award the trophy to you at a later time. Be careful!
Why didn't I get my tokens or trophy?
Some games require you to submit your score before your tokens/trophies can be awarded. Always be sure to click "Submit" on the High Scores submission screen before navigating away from a page. If you feel a mistake was made, please contact customer service.
I just played a game and accomplished something that should have counted towards my trophy requirements, but it didn't. What gives?
Some games require you to submit your score before your trophy accomplishments can be tracked. Be sure to always click "Submit" on the High Scores submission screen before navigating away from a page. If you feel a mistake was made, please contact customer service. Sometimes the trophies section on a game page will not update right away when you complete a game — please wait a few minutes, and then hit reload. Contact customer service if you feel a mistake was made.
If I end my Shockwave UNLIMITED subscription, will I lose my trophies?
No! You've earned them and they're yours to keep.
I think I won a trophy. Where is it?
You can view your most recent trophies in the My Trophies pod on My Shockwave — just click the My Shockwave tab and scroll down a bit. You can view all of your trophies by selecting "See My Full Trophy Case".
Can I sell or give my trophy to a friend?
Sorry, the trophies you earn are for your account only. Transfer of trophies or accounts is strictly prohibited by our Terms of Use.
